Zanesville Mini Implant Dentist Dr. Charles Hawkins
Dr. Hawkins graduated from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry in 1994. He completed the Advanced General Dentistry Program in 1995. In 1996, Dr. Hawkins and his family moved to Zanesville where he became the Dental Director at the Zanesville Muskingum County Health Department until 2000. In 1997, he opened his own private practice in South Zanesville, Ohio.
Committed to providing the highest quality of dental care, Dr. Hawkins has taken many hours of continuing education courses over the years and is continually learning new dental techniques He received his orthodontic training from Light Force America in 2004 and Invisalign certification in 2007. He received his intravenous sedation license from the Albert Einstein University in New York in 2005. He has had implant training from Midwest Implant Institute and Misch International Implant Institute. He is a member of several professional organizations such as, the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the Ohio Dental Association, and the Muskingum Valley Dental Society.
Dr. Hawkins enjoys talking with his patients and getting to know them on a personal level. When not caring for patients, he and his wife, Robin, are busy with their four children, Charles III, Jade, Nathan and Grant. All of their children are involved with sports, so you can find him either coaching or on the sidelines cheering them on.
Dr. Hawkins has had extensive training at the Mini Dental Implant Training Centre in Buffalo, New York under the supervision of Dr. Todd E. Shatkin.
